I replaced the inline filter as shown however what concerns me is there was no fluid in the old filter nor any fluid draining from the hoses after they were disconnected -as can be seen the filter lies horizontal and a small amount of fluid should remain in the filter at all times. The vehicle a 2003 Accord has 143,000 kms. (87,000 miles) on it and was purchased new and ATF Z1 and Now DW1 were changed 5 times every 36,000 Kms (22,000 miles) drain and fill with Z1 and later DW1 genuine Honda ATF.

In reply to Bosun. He is describing delayed engagement, which may have to do with worn bands. Not really connected to the fuel pump.

In reply to Richard. Additionally, I have equally Changed both the gear oil and engine oil. The sensors were also seeviced yet the delay still occurs.
